This 2005 Exploring Menai Straits 1 pound coin cover is a Royal Mail first day cover released on St. David's Day. It hosts a brilliant uncirculated Welsh 1 pound coin by the Royal Mint and four Royal Mail stamps showing definitive emblems of the nation of Wales. Menai Straits is a stretch of shallow water which separates the island of Anglesey and mainland Wales. Cancelled postmark St. Davids Day Cardiff 1st March 2005.
