This 2006 Spitfire flown silver proof 5 pounds coin cover is a UK PNC First Day Cover. It celebrates the Spitfire that shot down the first enemy aircraft on D-Day and hosts a silver proof five pounds coin and Royal Mail stamps. The cover was flown on a Spitfire on the 8th October 2006 piloted by the only female Spitfire Display Pilot. Cancelled postmark dated 6th November 2006.

The coin cover is pre-owned, comes complete with a certificate of authenticity and enjoys a limited issue of 195.
